The lessons of life are full of contemplation,
So why is it that this is so full of frustration?

I have seen you up and down the street,
But I can never seem to sweep you off your feet...

I try and try and there you stand,
Is it because I hold your hand?

I will never let go, so I guess there is nowhere you can go,
So hold on tightly because we love each other so.

I am beginning to love learning for once in my existence,
Especially when it is about someone with this loving pretense.

I am in love and all will know
Because here I am holding you here and now.

I like the couplets. It's one of my favorite styles for poetry. They always seem to work out well, just like here! :D
